INVESTMENT PIECE

When it comes to Fall, a BLAZER will be the one piece you can rely on, to take you from morning to night, you can pair it with almost anything, and dress it up or down.
Invest in a tuxedo blazer, make sure its long an hits below the hip, shorter styles seem dated and too serious, the longer styles are modern and very forgiving; a black blazer is a safe bet, if you already have one, look for a white one, preferably with black accents, it doesn't get better than that!

Pairing the blazer with leather pants, or textured leggings makes for a great contrast. Totally Rock and Roll. Kate Moss never disapoints.

For a total black on black look, like Eva Longoria's all you need are black skinny jeans and killer heels

Only Olivia Palermo can come out with this idea. Pairing a white balzer with a nautical shirt, while at the same time adding a punch of color. Really playful, young and fresh look. My fave!

LIVE IN PINK

October is the NATIONAL BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH, which is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease. Everyone knows about breast cancer or know someone who is affected by this, but many forget to take steps to have a plan to detect the disease in its early stages.
Lets bring awareness and hope to those who have loved ones suffering from cancer.
Do your part by wearing pink (come on! pink is probably one of your favorite colors...)
Pink was all over the runways in all its different shades.

PANTONE COLOR REPORT SPRING 2013

One week before Fashion week started in London, Pantone unveiled the colors we'll be seeing everywhere this upcoming SPRING 2013, and no they are not God ( I used to think they were), they don't just know what's going to happen, so this is how they make their predictions... the hard working people of PANTONE study runway shows, consumer habits, pop culture and fabric shows, not to mention that the economy plays a huge part before predicting what colors will be in fashion.
