Rodarte and Preen were inspired by the STAR WARS movie on their FALL 2014 RTW collections, big prints with Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, and many of other beloved characters were seen.

The Fairest of them all

RED VALENTINO picked the fairest princess of them all as inspiration for their FALL 2014 RTW collection. Dreamy Snow White's idea was taken into a direction that's younger, more street and a bit rock and roll.  

The grown-up fans of this Disney Princess now have alternatives and don't have to shop at the Disney store anymore.

Go Nude

Black is probably the first option in your mind when Fall arives but why stay in the dark like everything else around you? Bring some light into your day with fleshy shades of pink and peach, these colors scream ladylike and sexy at the same time, and remember that wearing nude shoes will elongate your legs, now I want some of that.

The New Look

The New Look that was introcuded to the world in 1947 by Christian Dior with its narrow waist, and very full skirts was ultra feminine and opulent, and it was seeing all over the runways for the Spring RTW 2014 shows, designers mixed this full skirt with cropped tops for a modern take, also combining it with sweaters and oxfords for an androgynous look, and the ultimate ladylike option is to pair this skirt with high heels and a thin sweater under the skirt. 

This is a trend we are definitely trying this year.

Monochromatic

We are totally loving Monochromatic outfits, to prevent your outfit from looking like a uniform wear different textures and if you want to make a statement stay away from black that's too predictable.

Pinstripes

We are used to seing pinstripes on men's suites but designers are taking it from the offices to the streets, embracing this material and transforming it into androgynous pieces with modern cuts and original twists on a timeless pattern that has been associated with business affairs.

Jason Wu Beauty Look

This is a short tutotial on how I tried to recreate this Jason Wu Spring 2014 beauty look, it's very wearable and great for day or night. For this look remember that the top half of your eyelid will be bare all the color is at the bottom. Try to keep the rest of your makeup minimal because this is a bold eye look and you want all the attention up there.

HERE WE GO

1. My blank canvas, please don't be scared, it gets better I promise.

Let's start with moisturizing the eye area then follow with a lid primer.

                                           

3. Sweep brown eyeshadow only up to the middle of your eyelid, slightly down toward the outer corner.  You probably have noticed my dark circles, who am I kidding? you so did.

 I don't apply concealer until I'm finished.

                                          

4. Use gold shimmery eyeshadow and sweep just in the middle   

                                          

                                          

5. Line your eyelash line with black liquid eyeliner. 

                                         

 6. Add mascara, then using a wet cotton swab clean all the under eye area, moisturize and now you can apply concealer. 

                                        

     

7. All done, now where do I go? The other moms at the park appreciated my look :)

Home Made Oatmeal Mask

Before we start please let me clarify that no, we're not cooking anything here and please refrain yourself from eating this, believe me it doesn't taste good, although it sounds good.
All the ingredients have benefitial properties for your skin:
Oatmeal gives your skin a natural glow and softness.
Yogurt has moisturizing properties.
Honey is a natural antibacterial and great for treating and preventing acne.
Egg whites help with irritation.

Step 1: Combine 1/2 cup of water and 1/3 cup of oatmeal

Step 2: Let it settle for 2 minutes

Step 3: Add 2 tablespoons of plain yougrt, 2 tablespoonsof honey and 1 egg white

Step 4: Mix it and apply a thin layer and let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes

Step 5: Rinse and voila! Thank us for luminous skin later ;)
